Tip of the Week: Free Tool Lets You Play YouTube Videos on Repeat

b2ap3_thumbnail_you_tube_repeater_400.jpgHave you ever come across a great soundtrack or album on YouTube that you would love to put on repeat, but can’t because YouTube doesn’t offer this feature? Well, fear not--there are a ton of services available that you can use to put your favorite videos on repeat, allowing you to save plenty of time on clicking that play button so that you can stay productive.

To get started, find the YouTube video that you want to put on repeat. Copy and paste the URL into a new tab, but don’t hit Enter yet.

Next, you want to erase the protocol of the URL. This is the “https://” portion of the link. Once you’ve done that, type the word “repeat” into the link, inserted just after the word “youtube.” The link that you’ve chosen should look something like this, followed by a random assortment of letters and numbers. It’s important to keep this part of the link intact, as it’s the way that the website knows which video you want repeated: youtuberepeat.com/watch/(random letters and numbers).

You’ll be redirected to a site called ListenOnRepeat.com, where you’ll be able to listen to the video on repeat. The website will even keep track of the number of times the video has played, too, just in case you were wondering.

Another neat service that you can use is Infinite Looper, which lets you put your YouTube videos on a loop. This one is interesting because it allows you to place certain sections of the video on repeat, so if there is a specific part of a video that you want to play over and over again, this is the ideal service. You can find Infinite Looper here: http://www.infinitelooper.com/
